As one of the tallest models in Yamaha’s classic U Series, the U3H features longer strings and a larger soundboard than the U1H, giving it a fuller, more powerful sound and broader dynamic range that appeals to intermediate and advanced players, teachers, and performance spaces. Most used U3H pianos are seen in polished ebony or occasionally in other wood finishes. When fitted with a professional silent system installed after manufacture, the piano can switch between traditional acoustic play and silent headphone practice, merging the expressive feel of an acoustic piano with the convenience of quiet practice.
